Shangri-La

Bueno, esta es mi última compra: The Bridges of Shangri-La (los puentes de Shangri-La)



Todavía no la tengo en mi poder, pero ya me he leído las reglas y son prometedoras. Además, mis GB tienen una buena opinión.

J C Lawrence (8.0): Intriguing perfect information game. Can seem dry until you notice the power of defending a city by moving students from it in a direction that you know will fail, just to break the bridge. Very tense in this regard. Tends to reward a driving aggressive play-style that keeps everyone scrambling for balance and opportunity. Rating likely to rise on further plays. Much better with three players than four. Probably worth a rating of an 8.5 for 3P.

Morgan Dontanville (7): This game is a crazy mix between a deterministic system and the free will to buck it. It is a nice brain burner, but as cool as it is, it can be a bummer as it doesn't take much to assess everyone's positions and ultimately who isn't going to win. Still, though there is a charm to it. Perhaps it is that there is a wonderful back and forth between alliances as you spread across the board. I'm want to describe the game experience as both miserable and fascinating. I wanted to play this again immediately after my first game.

Es un juego de mayorías, pero muy dinámico en su desarrollo, porque las regiones aledañas, y la cantidad de fichas que tengan, hace que puedan eliminarse algunas fichas y cambiar la composición del poder. Además, algunas regiones pueden quedar congeladas.

Hay que estar observando todo el tiempo todo el tablero para ver posibilidades de mejorar posiciones. En ese sentido, es muy interactivo y hay que estar 100% atentos a lo que hace el otro, porque el ataque puede venir en cualquier momento.
